With an acceptance rate of ~20%, it is a real testament to Bo Pang and the quality of his research that he was selected to present at the highly ranked European Conference on Information Retrieval (ECIR) 2025 conference in Lucca, Italy.
Bo’s research was focused on advancing the understanding of bias in large language models, particularly within localised contexts. This was an important aspect of the Our Voices machine learning analyses in the New Zealand content.
