In partnership with Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum, the Our Voices team has developed a free, interactive exhibition that offers visitors to the Museum an opportunity to learn about the Our Voices project, and connect with the hopes, concerns, interests and experiences of young people in Aotearoa.
The launch of the Our Voices exhibition on 4th December was a special milestone for the project, and the team were privileged to have the presence of the Chief Children’s Commissioner Dr. Claire Achmad to mark the occasion.
Drawing on insights and data collected through the project’s innovative app, the new pop-up digital interactive at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland War Memorial Museum focuses on three key themes from the gathered data: school experiences, support systems and societal issues.
It features a big screen and interactive spotlights where visitors can listen to young people’s thoughts and experiences on these topics, and will be running until 16 February 2025 in the Museum’s South Atrium Orientation Space.
